Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

In honor of Dr. Seuss, we had green eggs for dinner. Mommy wasn't sure about coloring ham, so we had toast too!

 
 
 

Tyler loves to read

Tyler absolutely loves to read. He will sit and read for quite a while- as long as no one disturbs him!

 
 

Sophie at 5 months

The little bug is 11 pounds now! She finally broke into the double digits. She started eating cereal and a couple of fruits and is now getting the hang of them and seems to enjoy them. She's rolling over front to back and back to front. She also loves to stand with help- it's so funny to see her do this, since she's so little! She is starting to laugh and talk more and more.

 
 
 
 

Lunch with Friends

We had some friends over today and we got to have one of our picnic lunches with them! It was amazing to see six kids 5 and under all sitting in the same space at the same time! You've got to look close to see Sophie, she's hanging out in her bumbo seat in the back.

Heading to school in the snow

Well, mommy has seen enough snow for the year, but we haven't! We loved to watch the snow come down and one day it was snowing as we left for school- so we took a couple pictures.

5 already! Here he is in his new birthday sweater and his scooter (that has become an accessory since getting it on Saturday).

The sun was out today, so we played even longer in the snow. When we were done today, we were exhausted!

Snow Fun!

It snowed lots while we were sleeping on Friday night! We had a great time playing in the snow- that is, until we got cold!

Tyler tried out Caleb's guitar as well...Mommy had to work hard to get this picture, he was very concentrated! Both sets of grandparents seem to think he needs drums for his birthday...mommy is not sure about that at all! We need our sound proof roof first!

Birthday Party!

It's party day! Garett and Caleb shared a birthday party, but each get their own post! We had a small party with Mommy, Tyler, Sophie, Nana, Grandpa, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Katie and Adrian. Aunt Sarah and Uncle Richard were supposed to come also, but got stuck in Raleigh because of all of the snow!

 

Presents! Garett got some new dinosaurs, a sleeping bag, a slinky dog and a sit and spin! How fun!

Happy Birthday Garett!

The Garett Man is 2! We are headed to NC this weekend to have a party, but we did celebrate his birthday today as well!

 

Rest Day!

Everyone has been feeling under the weather, so we decided to have a rest day! Mommy got our big blankets down from upstairs and we spent the entire day on the floor, watching movies and just hanging out. We had a picnic lunch and dinner and watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Land Before Time, Up and Toy Story. Just a day of doing nothing!
