The playhouse

Mommy and Daddy had some things to get done around the house today so we broke out our new playhouse. It is a cardboard playhouse that we got to decorate and everything before we played in it. It was so much fun to decorate it and we have been really enjoying playing in it too!

18 month old bug!

The Sophie bug is officially 18 months old! It's hard to believe our last little baby is no longer a baby and more of a toddler everyday. She is a very busy girl and always on the go! Sophie is still very petite and only weighs around 18 pounds and she seems to be getting taller these days. Her hair is finally growing in some more which is great for her bow modeling! She is very girly already and loves to wear her bows and twirl in her dresses. She has discovered her love for the color pink, my little ponies (especially pink ones!), her baby doll and pushing her baby in her stroller, accessories like her hats and purses, and most importantly Sophie loves shoes! She's so funny to watch and it's a wonder she's such a girly girl with 3 big brothers running around. She tries her hardest to keep up with her brothers but most of the time she enjoys playing on her own (or stealing their toys!). Sophie has always been a chatterbox but she really loves to talk these days. Her vocabulary has really grown in the past few months and she pretty much repeats anything she hears. She recites everyone's names and is so proud of herself saying yay when she's done. She is loving the new puppy and calls her "puppy" or "pepper" constantly when she sees her. Sophie loves to drink milk so cup and milk are two of her favorite things to say because she would have milk 24/7 if she could! Another favorite food item for Sophie to say is popcorn! She's such a funny little girl and it's fun to watch her grow more and more each day! Here are some pictures of Sophie at 18 months:

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Sophie was showing off her new green shirt she had for the occasion. We all wore our green to school today and had some special St. Patrick's Day activities to enjoy with our friends. We hope you all had a good day, did you remember your green? We hope you didn't get pinched!

Our new family member!

We got a new addition to our family this weekend. We got a new puppy and her name is Pepper. She's a beagle and gives Sophie a run for her money in energy! The monkeys are all enjoying a new puppy around to play with and she is keeping Leo young. Leo & Pepper love to play and wrestle and it's so funny to watch Leo with such a tiny pup. Sophie's Dresses

Sophie is such a girly girl and loves to dress up in her dresses. She has had quite a few new dresses lately that mommy has made her and she loves them all! Sophie loves to twirl in her dresses and put bows in her hair and it is so fun to watch.

Dr. Seuss' Birthday!

We always enjoy celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday with fun activities at school and mommy & daddy always make us something special for dinner that night. We always enjoy our green eggs for dinner on Dr. Seuss' birthday but we're not big fans of ham, so we usually enjoy something else with our green eggs. This year we enjoyed some yummy italian sausage and everyone seemed to enjoy it! We also got to wear our new shirts (and dress in Sophie's case) that mommy made for this special occasion!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day from the monkeys! We had a great day today and got to celebrate with our friends at school. We also got to celebrate a little with mommy and daddy at home! We hope you had a wonderful day!!

Happy 6th Birthday Caleb man!

Caleb is 6 years old today! It's crazy that he is already 6 years old. Caleb has grown up so much this year and its hard to believe he is half way through with kindergarten! Caleb got to enjoy his birthday dinner at Red Robin and open up a few more presents that were saved after the party this weekend. He got a new zhu zhu pet that he's been wanting! Happy Birthday Caleb!

A touch of Spring

We had a touch of spring today and it was quite nice! Sophie got to enjoy some new spring clothes and the boys got to test out a new birthday present!

Garett and Caleb's birthday celebrations

This weekend we traveled to North Carolina to celebrate Garett and Caleb's birthdays. We traveled to Greensboro to go to the Children's Museum up there and they absolutely loved it! There were so many things for them to do and explore and they could've stayed all day. After we finished up at the museum we headed to Fuddrucker's for a yummy lunch. We got to enjoy the museum with Daddy, Mommy, Nana, Paca, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Marie, Aunt Katie and Lydia. Once we headed to lunch Aunt Sarah, Uncle Richard and Lily were there to celebrate too! We got to open our presents from Aunt Sarah, Uncle Richard and Lily at lunch because they weren't heading back to Nana and Paca's house to do presents later.











After we finished up our lunch we headed back to Nana & Paca's house to open up presents and enjoy our How to Train your Dragon cake that mommy made!

Happy 3rd Birthday Garett monkey!

The monkey is 3 years old! It's hard to believe he is already 3 years old. He has changed so much in the past year and he is loving his preschool class and learning new things everyday. We had a small celebration at Red Robin on Garett's birthday but we will be celebrating Garett and Caleb's birthdays together this weekend in North Carolina. Garett got to enjoy his yummy birthday dinner and got to open some presents. He got his very first Chuggington train- Mtambo and his Safari cars. Garett is in love and hasn't put them down since he opened them. Happy Birthday Garett!
