Baseball

Caleb has really been enjoying baseball this season. He is playing for the Red Sox and his team has done very well. They have a great coach who has been more focused on teaching them the basics and building their skills than just winning. It is nice, because everyone on their team gets their turn to play, and the time is put in to help each child become a better player.

Lily's 2nd Birthday

We traveled down to Raleigh this weekend to celebrate cousin Lily's second birthday! Aunt Sarah & Uncle Richard had her party at a fun park in Raleigh, unfortunately the rain had other plans. We didn't get to play on the fun playground, but due to the nice picnic shelter we still got to enjoy Lily's party outside. We had yummy fajitas and all the fixin's including Paca's yummy guacamole. We didn't get many pictures of the party due to the rain, but we had a great time celebrating with Lily! We got to spend the night in Raleigh in a hotel- one of our most favorite things to do! We got to go swimming and just enjoy a nice little getaway. Mommy got this fun picture of us looking out of our room window. Sometimes it's easier to get a picture of all four of us from the back! :)

March of Dimes

This year Mommy was on a March of Dimes team called "Rockin' Mom's Walkin" and she raised money for the March of Dimes and today we walked 5 miles for the March of Dimes! Way to go Mommy and the Rockin' Mom's Walkin for the money they raised this year!!

End of Spring Break!

Our last day of Spring Break seemed more like summer than spring! Mommy even got out the slip 'n slide for the first time this year and we had a blast!

Cupcakes!

While Mommy was running her fourth half marathon of her deployment challenge, Aunt Katie helped the monkeys make her some celebration cupcakes! It has become quite a tradition to enjoy a cupcake after half marathons, so we decided she would need some when she got home! We made her some yummy vanilla cupcakes with sprinkles in them, some yellow icing and we even used some sprinkles to spell out, "Way to go Mommy!" We are so proud of her!

Easter/Spring Break

We headed down to North Carolina to spend Easter weekend and the beginning of our spring break down there at Nana & Paca's house. Uncle Richard, Aunt Sarah & cousin Lily came down on Easter Sunday too. We got to have some good hang out time, we dyed Easter eggs, had an Easter egg hunt with cousin Lily, opened our treats from the Easter bunny, Mommy & Nana, and we even got to visit the zoo which is having a very cool dinosaur exhibit right now!

Garett's Spring Program

Garett had his spring program and Easter Egg Hunt at school. While the big boys were at school, and one of our friends/neighbors hung out with Sophie, Mommy got to go see him sing and help out all alone! It was a treat for Garett to have just Mommy there with him for a special day. He looked super cute up there singing and really enjoyed his egg hunt and party with his friends and Ms. Jodie!
