Rainbow Jello

Mommy found a fun recipe online for rainbow jello and we decided to try it out. We were having a day at home to spend some time inside so it was the perfect time to try it. It is VERY time consuming but once it is all finished it is very fun and of course yummy. It ended up taking the entire day to finish all of the layers so one day was spent making it and another evening was spent enjoying it. What a fun summer treat!

Children's Museum

It's been so hot lately Mommy has been trying to find things for us to do indoors. So today we loaded up and headed to the Children's Museum in Portsmouth. We could've spent all day there if mommy would let us! There are so many fun things to do for all of us. We saw a few friends we knew there as well so it was fun to catch up. Mommy took a lot of pictures so we'll share a few with you. She even tried to get all 4 of us to sit in the big purple chair for a picture... but with 4 kids 6 & under, that's a bit difficult. It was a good try, so we'll share some of them for laughs!

Busch Gardens

Today we took an all day adventure to Busch Gardens. Aunt Katie has never been and Daddy will be leaving soon for a "medium work" so we wanted to do something all together. We got up early to load the car and head out. They have fireworks at Busch Gardens going on every night at 9:30. We weren't sure if we could all hang out for that long, but we decided we'd make our best effort to do so. Everyone we asked said the best place to watch fireworks was from the parking lot which sounded good to us. We played and played all day long, grabbed some snacks, lunch, and dinner in between, played a bit more then headed to the car. Sophie took a nap in her stroller, but other than that everyone hung in there for an 11 hour day! We got to the car just in time for the fireworks to start. Once they were done since we were already in the car it was a pretty easy time getting out of the park. What a fun day :)

A new car!

Mommy & Daddy decided we needed a bigger car! With 4 growing kiddos, space is a necessity. Not only did we need more cargo space, but space in general. After doing some researching, today was the day we got our new car! They decided to get a suburban and so far we are loving all the space. It's much bigger than the Mazda was, so it is taking some getting used to as far as driving it.

Happy 1st Birthday Lydia!

This weekend Mommy, Aunt Katie, Garett & Sophie traveled down to North Carolina to pick up Caleb and Tyler but also to celebrate Miss Lydia's 1st birthday! It's official, all the babies in the family that are around right now have turned 1! Cara & Phillip made Lydia a chair like the one they made for Lily and she loved it too!

Happy birthday Lydia! We're glad we got to celebrate with you!

Summer adventures!

Caleb & Tyler got a special treat last weekend and this past week. First they got to travel to Atlanta with Paca, Nana & Aunt Katie for a long weekend. They got to go to a Braves baseball game, the Coca Cola museum & the aquarium! They had a busy, but fun weekend!

After their adventure to Atlanta they returned to North Carolina to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa! They have been traveling all over the place and loving every minute of it! Mommy & Daddy were ready to see them again after a week, but they know how much fun they had!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!! Caleb & Tyler took a trip to Atlanta over the weekend with Paca, Nana & Aunt Katie so it was just Daddy, Mommy, Garett & Sophie hanging out for the weekend. Garett & Sophie had some sickness going on over the weekend but luckily they were better in time for some fireworks to celebrate! It was raining and storming off and on on Monday so we got to have a great show of fireworks without a ton of people.
