Big snow!

We woke up to quite a surprise the morning after Christmas. It had snowed like crazy and we were literally snowed in! It was really too deep to play in because we would all sink down in the snow and on top of that it was very cold! Daddy had to plow out of the snow with our beach shovels because who knew we would need a snow shovel?

Caleb wanted to go out in the snow and help Daddy shovel, but he was getting stuck!

Christmas

We had a wonderful trip to Disney World and got home in time to celebrate Christmas in our house as a family! We all had picked out some favorite things we loved at Disney World and what we didn't purchase with our gift cards we had received, somehow Santa got the memo and brought us some Disney goodies! Our big surprise trip was our big gift this year, but we ended up with some other great goodies to open as well! Merry Christmas!!

Caleb wanted to buy a monorail the entire time we were at Disney World but he was convinced otherwise by an Elf and ended up opening one on Christmas morning. His other favorite gift this year was his skateboard that he had to try out right away!

Tyler has been asking for a new scooter because he had outgrown his other one. He must have been a very good boy because he got a brand new red scooter when he woke up Christmas morning! He also got a zhu zhu pet and a fun book from Disney World the he had been eyeing!

Garett got an Alphie for Christmas or as he calls him an "obot" and he absolutely loves playing with him. One of his special things from Disney World was a bucket of green army men (hut huts) that he has really enjoyed too!

Sophie just loved Minnie Mouse while we were at Disney World so it was fitting that she got two Minnie's for Christmas. A big pink one that she loves to snuggle with and a smaller red one that is easier to carry around! Her other favorite gift this year seemed to be her very first My Little Pony, a pink one no less!

Disney Day 5

Today was our last day at Disney. Our week went by too fast because we were having so much fun! We had plans for a much anticipated lunch at the T-Rex Restaurant so we headed to Downtown Disney to enjoy some last minute fun before our lunch. We had a very yummy lunch and the boys loved it after they got used to the sounds and lights in the restaurant. Caleb, Tyler and Garett got to have their drinks in fun souvenir cups that light up and it seemed to be a highlight of the lunch! After lunch we visited the fun shops at downtown Disney before we began our journey home.

We had such a wonderful time at Disney World and even though the ride home was long we were troopers for Daddy, Mommy and Aunt Katie. We finally arrived home around 3am and were more than ready to crash in our own beds. We were ready to celebrate Christmas, but enjoyed our big gift of going to Disney World!

Disney Day 4

On our 4th day at Disney we headed over the Magic Kingdom for a fun filled day! The Magic Kingdom was by far the favorite park we visited for the kiddos. When we weren't there they kept asking to go there and when we were they didn't want to leave! We were there from early morning until late after dinner! We rode the buzz lightyear ride numerous times (another favorite) as well as many other favorites. Tyler's favorite ride was the carousel and he wanted to ride it over and over again. Some other favorites included Space Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, The teacups, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Peter Pan's Flight and Disney's Philharmonic Show. We had a great day and the monkeys kept on trucking the entire day!

We visited Mickey's house that was all decorated for Christmas and then rode the Magic Kingdom train back to the entrance to catch the monorail to the contemporary for dinner. We had so much fun on the train ride!

We were so busy during the day riding rides and enjoying the beautiful weather we didn't have as many pictures during the day. Before we left to head to our yummy dinner we got some pictures of the castle lit up and some family pictures in front of the Magic Kingdom.

After our photo ops we hopped on the monorail over to the Contemporary Resort to have dinner at Chef Mickeys. This is a favorite of everyones due to the food and fun! We got to see our favorite characters again and enjoy some good food like mickey roni and cheese- by far Sophie's favorite meal of the week! The kids really enjoyed dinner with all of the characters especially when Sophie saw Minnie Mouse, she was starstruck!

Disney Day 3

On our third day we woke up early to head to the Animal Kingdom to have a yummy breakfast with Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy.

We were stuffed after our breakfast so we ventured out into the Animal Kingdom to enjoy our day! One of our favorites for today was the safari ride where we got to see all of the animals. We even got to see a baby giraffe up close when it walked in front of our safari car! We all thought this was very cool and Sophie must have found the ride soothing because she fell asleep again. She was a tired little bug on our adventures!

Caleb, Tyler and Garett got to ride a dinosaur ride that is similar to dumbo at the Animal Kingdom and it was quite an adventure. Caleb and Garett rode in the front with mommy and Tyler rode in the back with Aunt Katie. It didn't take any of them long to figure out that the control in the front made us go up and down and the control in the back tilted us forward and backward. The boys thought it was fun to go up and down as many times as we could.

On our way out to catch the tram back to our car we stopped for a few photos! One was in front of the tree of life and another was in front of the big Christmas tree in front of the entrance. We called it an early day and left early afternoon to have some down time because we had such a busy day before and had another one planned the next day!

After we had some down time we decided to ride the boat over to the Magic Kingdom to get on the monorail. We didn't have a reservation for dinner that night (usually a Disney no no) and we really wanted to try Ohana at the Polynesian Resort but we couldn't ever get a reservation. We rode the monorail over there and got lucky that we could get in but we had to wait a little while. Lucky for us Pluto and Goofy were in the lobby right outside of Ohana so we waited in line to see them and get autographs before dinner.

During our yummy dinner at Ohana they invited kids up to dance and play games and Caleb went right up there. Garett decided he wanted to go a little later too with Daddy, but we got some great pictures of them with their special leis and dancing. They even got to bring special leis back to us at the table for doing such a great job!

After we finished dinner we got back on the monorail, which to the kiddos is a great ride in itself! We made a stop at the Grand Floridian to look at the decorations there before we headed back for the night. We loved the big Christmas tree in the lobby as well as the big gingerbread house. We had a great day and it took no time before we were all asleep!
