On our third day we woke up early to head to the Animal Kingdom to have a yummy breakfast with Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy.
We were stuffed after our breakfast so we ventured out into the Animal Kingdom to enjoy our day! One of our favorites for today was the safari ride where we got to see all of the animals. We even got to see a baby giraffe up close when it walked in front of our safari car! We all thought this was very cool and Sophie must have found the ride soothing because she fell asleep again. She was a tired little bug on our adventures!
Caleb, Tyler and Garett got to ride a dinosaur ride that is similar to dumbo at the Animal Kingdom and it was quite an adventure. Caleb and Garett rode in the front with mommy and Tyler rode in the back with Aunt Katie. It didn't take any of them long to figure out that the control in the front made us go up and down and the control in the back tilted us forward and backward. The boys thought it was fun to go up and down as many times as we could.
On our way out to catch the tram back to our car we stopped for a few photos! One was in front of the tree of life and another was in front of the big Christmas tree in front of the entrance. We called it an early day and left early afternoon to have some down time because we had such a busy day before and had another one planned the next day!
After we had some down time we decided to ride the boat over to the Magic Kingdom to get on the monorail. We didn't have a reservation for dinner that night (usually a Disney no no) and we really wanted to try Ohana at the Polynesian Resort but we couldn't ever get a reservation. We rode the monorail over there and got lucky that we could get in but we had to wait a little while. Lucky for us Pluto and Goofy were in the lobby right outside of Ohana so we waited in line to see them and get autographs before dinner.
During our yummy dinner at Ohana they invited kids up to dance and play games and Caleb went right up there. Garett decided he wanted to go a little later too with Daddy, but we got some great pictures of them with their special leis and dancing. They even got to bring special leis back to us at the table for doing such a great job!
After we finished dinner we got back on the monorail, which to the kiddos is a great ride in itself! We made a stop at the Grand Floridian to look at the decorations there before we headed back for the night. We loved the big Christmas tree in the lobby as well as the big gingerbread house. We had a great day and it took no time before we were all asleep!
